Mundaring Jehovah Witness member charged with indecent assault of four boys

DETECTIVES have charged a 44-year-old Mundaring man as a result of investigations stemming from the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse.

The Child Abuse Squad will allege between 1993 and 2013 the then member of the Mundaring Jehovah Witness congregation indecently assaulted four boys aged between 14 and 16 years at the time of the first offence in Mundaring and Chidlow.

He has been charged in relation with four counts of unlawful and indecent assault and one count of indecently dealing with a child over 13 and under 16 years.

He is due to appear in Midland Magistrates Court on May 23.
