DOG owners in Perth’s east have a new open space to take their pooch with Greenslope Dog Park at Bushmead now open.

The dedicated dog park boasts walking paths, a grassed area and a fenced dog exercise area, giving residents peace of mind when their furry friends are off the leash.

Cedar Woods WA State manager Ben Rosser said a key feature of Bushmead was the 185ha of retained bushland and Greenslope Dog Park complemented the natural surrounds.

“There are three major parks and open spaces at Bushmead, all of which are connected by pathways, giving residents and neighbouring locals the opportunity to fully appreciate and explore the beautiful bushland native to the area,” he said.

“We understand a lot of our residents and neighbours have dogs and they are an important part of the family.
