CHILDREN will have more fun outdoors thanks to $50,000 being spent on new playground equipment in the Shire of Mundaring.

Kalamunda MLA Matthew Hughes joined students from Mundaring Primary School to find out what they most enjoyed about community play areas.

He said the new equipment would upgrade the Parkerville Oval playground in Seaborne Street and Noble Estate Reserve in Mundaring,

“These community projects are important for families and children who need a safe place to play and feel close to their native bushland, which is so important to the area,” he said.
