A CLEAN-UP is underway at High Wycombe Primary School after a large tree fell on the school grounds damaging part of its roof and gardens.

It comes after the remnants of ex-tropical cyclone Joyce dumped heavy falls across the metro area yesterday.

Bickley recorded the second highest rainfall with 139.2mm of rain since 9am Monday.

A clean-up is underway after this massive tree fell on High Wycombe Primary School overnight.

SES Mundaring duty officer Robbie Palmer said volunteers attended four calls for help.

“The call outs were mainly due to flooding and were spread across the east in Midvale, Swan View and Helena Valley,” he said.

“Given the heavy rainfall we got off pretty lightly.”

The WA Education Department has been contacted for comment.
