Police hunting for road rage attacker after High Wycombe assault

MIDLAND detectives have called for public help to identify a man who assaulted another man with a metal pole during a road rage incident in High Wycombe yesterday.

The 60-year-old victim was driving along Maida Vale Road when he notices a white Toyota Prado following closely behind.

Both men pulled over on Edney Road, and when the victim attempted to leave his car, the driver assaulted him with a short metal pole.

He also verbally threatened the victim before driving away.

The man is described as fair skinned with a stocky build and in his 30s.

The victim received serious head injuries as a result of the incident and was treated at Royal Perth Hospital.
