Priceline Kalamunda manager Sally Harrison is pleased with the extended opening hours.
‘Prior to Christmas, we sell a lot of perfume for gifts and stocking fillers, so it will give people more time to shop,’ she said.
‘We have wanted to open at the same time as the Kalamunda Markets on a Sunday because it makes more sense.’

Centro Kalamunda marketing manager Stacey Ryan said the centre would be open for the extended trading hours, but trading hours were at the discretion of individual retailers.
The announcement by Commerce Minister Michael Mischin followed the Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s (CCI) application for extended trading, which attracted support from Perth and Hills retailers.
Mr Mischin said trading hours for the three Sundays before Christmas would be extended, allowing all shops in the Perth metropolitan area to open earlier.
