Serious concerns for welfare of man missing from Guildford mental health facility

POLICE are seeking information regarding the whereabouts of man missing from a mental health residential care facility in Guildford.

Stuart Ashton Garratt (55) who was last seen at Salisbury House on James Street at approximately 10.30pm on Friday, February 22.

Serious concerns are held for his welfare as he has left the address with no money or phone, has not made contact with family or the centre since leaving and he is not familiar with the metropolitan area.

Mr Garratt is described as fair skinned, approximately 180cms tall, stocky build, salt and pepper hair and has a full beard.

He was last seen wearing a red jumper with horizontal grey/black stripes and dark pants.

He has a distinctive limp.

Anyone who sees Mr Garratt or who has any information regarding his whereabouts, is asked to call Police immediately on 131 444.
