KAYE Waterhouses’s new Vital Beat Yoga in Midland had only been open for 10 days before classes were full as word spread on social media.

Such is the demand for a hip-hop yoga school in Perth that if you want to join one of the varied classes offered you have to book well in advance.

The Mundaring mother was a part of the innovative Yoga 213 in Prahran, Melbourne, which also offered courses for instructors.

When Ms Waterhouse completed her training in Melbourne she decided to bring the idea back to Perth after eight years living in Melbourne.

She said she looked for a location close to Mundaring and found the studio in Midland and helped to get it set up.

The space at the unit in Padbury Terrace, Midland has been transformed for the new classes.

So far, the most popular class has proved the Sunday Soul Train Yin and atmospheric chilled out beats.

“The class sizes are growing quite quickly and we are definitely drawing people in,” she said.

“They can try to sort out where the fit is for them, with the classes.

“Ideally it’s best to book as the casual drop in can fill up fast.”
