Swan Animal Haven looking for volunteer walkers

SWAN Animal Haven volunteers are looking for walkers to help raise thousands of dollars for their dog rescue centre in South Guildford.

Every year, fundraisers are invited to collect a dog from the haven or walk their own pooch along the foreshore, starting at Taylor Street in Victoria Park.

The sponsored walk takes place any time between 9am to 1.30pm on Sundayand lasts up to 10km.

It is one of three major fundraisers by the rescue centre where dogs are cared for until they can be re-homed.
