THE University of Notre Dame Australia has awarded the Sacred Heart Parish Scholarship to Swan View resident Jasmine Elder Thies.
The scholarship provides tuition support to a first-year student at Notre Dame’s School of Education.
Ms Elder Thies is enrolled in the bachelor of education (primary)/ bachelor of behavioural science double degree.

She was awarded the scholarship for her outstanding achievements in Year 12 at John Curtin College of the Arts.
“I am delighted to be studying my degree at Notre Dame where there is a warm, friendly and exciting vibe,” she said.
“Notre Dame is an intimate university where you’re constantly bumping into your new classmates and friends.
“Education is a compelling course with many interesting topics and opportunities ahead.”
School of Education dean Michael O’Neill said they were excited to help Ms Elder Thies realise her personal and professional goals throughout her learning journey.
