Swan View: Seen and Heard promises school holiday fun

SEEN and Heard is delivering four free activities during the July school holidays for 12-20 year olds.

The first event will be a resume writing workshop on July 4 and 11 at the Swan View Youth Centre from 1.30pm-4.30pm.

On July 5 and 12 it will hold the FoodREDI cooking classes, facilitated by Australian Red Cross, at the Swan View Youth Centre from 1.30pm-3.30pm.

The Thursday “Be-You-tiful” sessions will focus on mindfulness and meditation on July 6 and 13 at the Elsie Austin Pavilion in Mt Helena from noon-4pm.

Mundaring Sharing Yoga instructor Karina Dimits will facilitate both the yoga and meditation sessions.

At the end of each week, the Swan View Youth Centre will be open from 3.30pm-6pm with a chill out area for young people on Friday afternoons.

Seen and Heard will provide free activities, movie screenings and food during the July 14 and 7 sessions.
