SWAN View Senior High School students shared their many talents with guests at a showcase assembly last term.

Students, parents and members of the wider community were invited to attend the assembly, which is one of the school’s most anticipated events.

It gives a snapshot of the opportunities provided to students, including performances from drama, gymnastics, music, science, dance, media and Clontarf Program students.

Deputy principal Kate Wilson said students deserved to be provided with the best possible learning opportunities regardless of ability or style of learning.

“The students at Swan View Senior High School receive this individual care,” she said.

The assembly gave a small taste of how the school fostered students’ strengths and also their achievements.

Swan View’s achieving curriculum excellence program acknowledges future students who have been identified as having an academic strength and a recognised commitment to learning.
