“We are fortunate that we have smaller margins than some other venues, so we’d be silly not to pass on the savings to customers.”

Mr Craig said the cheap pints of German beer Uber Lager are available throughout January when customers sign up to its free loyalty program.

“I have never seen beer this cheap in my lifetime and one customer said it’s the cheapest pint he’s seen since the 70s,” he said.

“The offer is really kicking off and we are hoping to become the local venue of choice for customers because of our exceptional quality and pricing deals for food and beverages.

“We are also currently talking with a local brewery so watch this space we have a really exciting year planned.”

The Stirling Arms is also offering $5 spirits and $4 Coronas.
