Sarah BrookesMidland Kalamunda Reporter

TWO men have been taken into custody after trying to evade police this morning in Forrestfield.

About 10am police responded to a report of a burglary in Forrestfield and a red Holden Commodore was sighted at the scene.

Police attempted to stop the vehicle on Clayton Street in Bellevue but the driver refused to stop.

The driver continued to evade police across several suburbs in Perth’s east before the car was stopped near the intersection of Welshpool Road and McDowell Street in Welshpool.
