WA notches up its 50th division one Lotto winner for the year

CHECK your Lotto ticket, as one lucky WA punter is the state’s 50th division one Lotto winner after picking up a cool million bucks in Saturday Lotto.

The unclaimed ticket was sold at Midland Gate Lottery Kiosk and is one of four division-one winning tickets sold across the country.

Midland Gate Lottery Kiosk owner Lance McCrae said his shop was abuzz with hopeful locals coming in to check and recheck their tickets.

“We are absolutely over the moon – what a brilliant way to start the week,” Mr McCrae said.

“We’re encouraging all of our customers to come in and check their tickets – you could be Midland’s newest millionaire and not even realise it,” he added.

Mr McCrae said players who missed out on a weekend win would have a second chance at the Lotto dream ahead of Thursday’s $50 million Powerball jackpot.
