A WESTERN Australia Police Force employee has admitted she was paid thousands of dollars for information she unlawfully accessed from work computer systems.

Rebekah Rose Tilbury, 32, faced Midland Magistrates Court on Tuesday.

She pleaded guilty to a string of charges including acting corruptly, unlawful use of a computer and unauthorised disclosure of information between August 2017 and January this year.

She also pleaded guilty to some drug charges and was fined for those offences.

Police previously said Tilbury received a total of more than $16,000 for passing on the information.

Tilbury, who had been working at the Police Assistance Centre, was charged following an Internal Affairs Unit investigation and was suspended from duty.

She will face the WA District Court on July 5.
