WA Police investigate attempted armed robbery at Middle Swan fast food outlet

POLICE are investigating an attempted armed robbery at a Middle Swan fast food outlet last night.

WA Police spokeswoman Ros Weatherall said a man entered the Dance Drive store about 8.45pm on June 25 “armed with a crowbar and syringe”.

“He demanded cash from the male store attendant, before the attendant threw the till at the man,” she said.

“The till hit the wall behind the man.

“He then fled the store empty handed and was seen to enter a dark coloured vehicle, which drove from the area.

“The man was described as being fair skinned, with black pants, and a long sleeved black jacket.”

Regional Investigations Unit officers are investigating and anyone with information can call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or make a report online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au.
