Wellness part of City of Kalamunda’s seniors free fun activities

CITY of Kalamunda senior residents are invited to join in free festivities during Seniors Week.

The celebrations start on October 30 with a free wellness talk by Dr Ashley Suckling from Nervana Wellness. Healthy Living to 100 and Beyond will be held at the Cyril Road Hall, 58 Cyril Road, High Wycombe, from 1pm to 2.30pm. Afternoon tea will provided.

Bingo will be held on October 31 at the Woodlupine Community Centre, 88 Hale Road, Forrestfield, from 1pm to 4pm. Forrestfield Leisure Group is running the bingo on behalf of the City.

On November 2, the Supper Club Variety Show will be held at High Wycombe Recreation Centre, 200 Newburn Road, High Wycombe, from 3pm to 6.30pm. With live performances, dance and variety music from the ’40s, ’50s and ’60s, seniors are encouraged to wear their best hat or fascinator and be in the running for prizes.

From November 3-9 the Senior Residents Art Exhibition will be at Zig Zag Gallery.

There will be a free Melbourne Cup lunch and dance on November 7 at the Woodlupine Family and Community Centre, 88 Hale Road, Forrestfield.

The City will also offer a free Active Seniors pass at the Hartfield Park Recreation Centre for any of the programs from October 30 to November 5.
