GREENMOUNT’S Marloo Theatre will set the scene for the Darlington Theatre Players production of Edward Albee’s Who’s Afraid of Virgina Woolf? next month.

The show, directed by Brendan Tobin, will run from April 28 to May 13.

It follows the characters George (Richard Hadler) and Martha (Alida Chaney), who stumble home from a faculty party at the university where George teaches.

It is clear they are not the happiest couple and appear rather bitter.

Martha informs her husband that a young couple Nick (Cameron Leese) and Honey (Krysia Wiechecki) will be coming over for a few after-party drinks.

The doorbell chimes and the scene is set for alcohol, agony and some serious emotional devastation.

The show starts at 7.30pm on Fridays, Saturdays and Wednesdays and 2pm Sundays. For bookings, call Gwyne on 9255 1783 or trybooking.com/OIXS.
