Witnesses sought

At 3.45pm, a beige Hyundai Excel hatchback was travelling north on Roe Highway when it hit the rear of a silver Ford Falcon utility at the intersection of Great Eastern Highway Bypass.

The Hyundai flipped and rolled on to its roof and collided with two other vehicles, a white Hyundai Accent hatchback and a white Hyundai IX35.

The Hyundai IX35 was pushed into a silver Mitsubishi Triton Truck towing a blue trailer which was stationary at the time.

The driver of the beige Hyundai Excel, a 28-year-old man from Midland, was taken to hospital with neck and chest injuries.

The driver of the Ford Falcon utility, a 58-year-old man, was taken to hospital with neck and spine injuries.

Both drivers have since been released from hospital and the 28-year-old man is helping police with the investigation.
