POLICE have hit a 26-year-old female teacher already charged with sex offences against a female student with a further charge of possessing child exploitation material.
The woman appeared in Midland Magistrates Court on Tuesday morning but was not required to enter a plea and is scheduled to appear again on July 12.
She was charged last month with 15 counts of sexual penetration of a child over 13 and under 16 years of age and two counts of sexual penetration of a child over 16 years under their authority.

READ NOWShe was also charged with five counts of indecently dealing with a child over 13 years and under 16 years of age, and one count of persistent sexual conduct with a child under 16 years of age.
The girl was 15 at the time of the first alleged offence.
Now the woman has been hit with a further charge, stemming from the seizure of electronic items during a search on May 28.
Analysis of the items recovered resulted in 104 category 1 child exploitation images, 11 category 3 child exploitation material images and two category 3 child exploitation material videos being located.
It will be alleged the child exploitation material was recorded between July 2015 and May 2016.
