Woodbridge: arson squad detectives investigating house fire

ARSON Squad detectives are investigating Saturday’s early morning fire at a house in Woodbridge.

Officers from Central Metro Response were driving along Great Eastern Highway just before 3am when they observed the fire in Byers Road.

Department of Fire and Emergency Services officers extinguished the fire.

The house’s residents were not at home during the fire, which caused about $300,000 damage.

Detectives want to hear from anyone who might have any information about the fire or anyone that might have CCTV vision from the area between 2.30am and 3.30am.
