One of the centre’s buses used to provide services to youth-at-risk was vandalised and the contents ransacked.
The theft occurred during the Christmas closure between the December 24 and the January 4.
WA PCYC outreach co-ordinator Mark Finch said it was a disappointing and frustrating start to the new year.
“The bus that has been damaged is used every day of the week to provide youth services in the City of Swan to young people who otherwise have nothing to do,” he said.
“This damage not only means we need to pay for repairs with money that would otherwise be spent on other services elsewhere, but it also means we are unable to provide much-needed services to young people until the bus is fixed.”
Anyone with information about the vandalism can contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
