Advice ignored

WITH three free green waste recycle bins a year in Kalamunda, free access to the Walliston tip and large green household bins collected weekly, yet you can still drive round at weekends at this time of year and see smoke billowing from properties all over the shire burning leaf litter.

We are all aware that Co2 emissions are a problem. The shire's own advice is not to burn damp green waste and tree litter, which is natural mulch.
