Barking is noise pollution

Name and address suppliedMidland Kalamunda Reporter

One neighbour leaves the dog alone, sometimes for days, and it barks all the time.

I and other neighbours have tried to leave notes complaining of the problem, but the dog is still left alone.

The other neighbour stands and watches as his dog barks furiously at us if we arrive home or just want to do some gardening.

The ranger has approached both dog owners. Consequently, there is only a temporary respite and then the problem starts again.

I would like to see the public demand that barking dogs be dealt with better and any pet i.e. that makes excessive noise is removed from the property.

We have a right to live in peace and barking dogs should come under noise pollution.

If you have a neighbour with a barking dog, don’t ignore it, contact your local ranger.
