Difference made

Janice TeoMidland Kalamunda Reporter

THE McGrath Foundation says a huge thank you to the Midland-Kalamunda community for getting behind its community cricket initiative, Pink Stumps Day, and helping to raise more than $1.2 million to support families in Australia experiencing breast cancer.

Thank you to Ellenbrook Rangers Cricket Club, Swan Valley Cricket Club, Sunny Jim's Mobile Wood Fire Pizza, LMJCC and Cockburn Cavaliers for their fantastic efforts. Each group got their local community involved, turning their pitches pink and raised a collective $2542.

Through support like this, the Foundation is able to ensure that families experiencing breast cancer have access to a breast care nurse, no matter where they live or their financial situation.
