Re-invest in workers, companies, not fat cats

IF the obscene salaries, bonuses and shares were reinvested into the company instead of personal bank accounts of fat cat directors, the businesses would not need government tax handouts.

This money should go to hire more people who would circulate their pay into the general economy thereby supporting businesses who could perhaps employ more staff, circulating more cash and so on.

This would be doing something useful to getting the economy moving.

The cash would not be languishing in personal bank accounts as at present.

Jobs go offshore not for lack of skills here but merely for profits for business and shareholders so damaging Australia as a whole with more unemployment.

Whilst workers are limited to small pay rises, directors get obscene amounts. Why… because they can.

South Korea, as an example of sharing reasonable amount of pay for directors and workers alike, has gone from paddy fields to engineering powerhouse in a few years.
