EVEN with the increase in rail fares, I am certain that it is cheaper to travel from Midland to Perth using the railway, rather than driving (free off-peak for us seniors).
It also avoids the necessity of finding (and paying for) somewhere to park in Perth.
However, I observe that, student times excepted, the bus services to Midland station are very poorly used.
