Brittany keen on tough sports

‘They’re aggressive sports ” they’re not ‘princess’ sports like netball,’ she said.

The 15-year-old is a member of the School Sport Australia national softball team that recently competed in Singapore at the South East Asian Youth Tournament.

Keen trains in her three sports every day and the hard work is paying off.

She has an Australian All Stars medal from competing in the under 15s national baseball team, and currently competes in both the junior and senior women’s hockey leagues.

Keen said she hoped to one day be a member of the Hockeyroos and take part in an Olympic campaign.

School Sport WA co-ordinates 36 teams annually, with students going on to compete at national championships.
