The club formed in 1999 at Altone Park, last played in 2013 in the WA Amateur Football League and won a league premiership in 2006 in D grade.

League president Rowan Carson said many past players had longed for the club to re-form.

“And now it is happening there has been lots of interest,” he said.

“The Beechboro Braves Junior Football Club is also very happy to have the senior club back so their kids have a pathway to come through in future years.

“The City of Swan is in support of the senior club reforming.”

Anyone interested in playing or being involved with the club, call Son Nguyen on 0438 390 358, who has played more than 250 games for the club and also played in its first.

A meeting will be held at Altone Park to form a committee on September 4, at 7pm.
