Football: Kalamunda Cougars show lots of heart in win over Wesley Curtin and in fundraising effort for Heart Kids WA

Brad WoodgateCommunity News

ON a day when the Kalamunda Cougars Football Club raised more than $5000 for Heart Kids WA, the A grade league team showed plenty of heart and recorded a huge win.

The Cougars defeated Wesley Curtin by 16 points in a hard-fought contest.

Jarrod Brunskill continued his impressive form, and Matthew “I’ll have another article to add to the scrapbook” Outridge was again best afield.

Finally a mention for captain Beau Barratt, who led the reserves from the front with team menace Jay Rakich best on the ground. Unfortunately, the boys went down by 47 points.
