WIND and rain didn’t deter the Hills BMX Club at the recent State BMX titles held in Bunbury.

The club brought home 62 state plates and 12 of the club’s riders are state champions.

Aaron Nottle was one of the club’s best performing riders, winning the title of elite men’s champion.

Hills BMX was named best represented club in the competition with 87 competitors in the three-day event.

Committee member Cat Hopkins was delighted with the club’s performance.

“Bunbury BMX Club is one of the hardest tracks in WA with an 8m high ramp and hard jumps on all four straights of the track,” she said.

“It was an awesome effort by all Hills members.”
