Masters club meets challenge

The Masters group encourages swimming for fitness, friendship and fun. Research shows training in a group increases motivation levels and enhances results.

Masters clubs are located at most metropolitan aquatic centres.

‘Swimming is great exercise,’ Masters Swimming WA executive officer Wendy Holtom said.

‘It is low impact but can have big results, with mental and physical benefits. I encourage anyone who can swim a few laps, no matter what age, size or fitness level, to visit their local Masters club to see what being a member involves.’
