Arriving in the exotic location for the biennial hockey tour, the 16 students, three teachers and two parents were able to explore their surroundings once they checked into their hotel in the Bugis district.

Taking in the sites, cheap eateries and markets on their first day, the team was able to pick up some souvenirs, then relax by the hotel pool before getting stuck into training.

For the next eight days, the team played five games and had two training sessions, which were broken up by an immersion day at Teck Whye Secondary school, visits to Little India, the fashion districts and a trip to Universal Studios for some rides on the rollercoasters.
