IT’S back-to-back lengthy road trips for Kalamunda, which heads to Eaton on Saturday after last week taking the State Basketball League’s longest journey to Kalgoorlie.

The 13th-placed Suns will take some confidence into the match against fifth-placed South West.

The side returned from Kalgoorlie with its fifth win of the season after defeating the Goldfields Giants 98-89.

Ryan Blanchett produced a razor-sharp shooting effort, hitting 53 per cent from the field, including 5-7 at the three-point arc, to score 25 points.

William Brandenberg landed a double-double with 18 points and 10 rebounds.

In the women’s league, 10th-placed Kalamunda has a strong opportunity to jump a spot on the ladder when it challenges 11th-placed South West.
