MIDLAND-Guildford lifted themselves off the bottom of the WACA Premier Cricket table with a much-needed win over Gosnells at Sutherlands Park on Saturday.
The Swans made a strong score of 273 on day one and completed the job with a good bowling performance.
Regular wickets early meant the away side had Gosnells in trouble at 6-85.
Despite some fight from the hosts, the Swans eventually bowled them out for 214.
Bevan Bennell took 3-22, while Keaton Critchell and Jack Baker took two wickets apiece in a promising performance for a young side.
The Swans faced five overs late in the day to finish 0-15 at stumps.
Fifteenth-placed Midland-Guildford host Fremantle at Lilac Hill this Saturday.
