WAFL: Swan Districts finish pre-season on high with win over East Fremantle

SWAN Districts capped off its pre-season preparations with a come-from-behind win over East Fremantle in WAFL action at the weekend.

The Swannies were three goals down at three quarter-time at East Fremantle Oval before winning 9.8 (62) to 8.9 (57).

They were coming off a 10-goal home loss to last season’s runner-up Subiaco.

They now host Perth in the first game of the season on March 18.

The club is also gearing up for the boxer Danny Green-backed Stop the Coward Punch round on March 25 against South Fremantle.
