Joel KellyMidland Kalamunda Reporter

The Swans piled on runs in the first day of the round 12 Premier Cricket match and will look to finish the job next Saturday in their late-season rush for the finals.

Walters took his season runs’ tally to 820 with an incredible average of 164 after scoring his third century for the season, against a struggling Scarborough team.

He hit 15 boundaries and a six to dominate the day in his career best season.

The batting master class puts him at the top of the Premier Cricket run scorer table, with his 820 runs coming at a strike rate over 100.
