Coach Laura Bryant said the team came away with a gold medal when they competed in a pennants event recently at Gymnastics WA in Leederville.

"Gymnastics is a very competitive sport and even just achieving a place on the podium was exceptional, but to win a gold medal and to bring home the team trophy is a feeling ‘out of this world’," Bryant said. She said the team had trained for many years and worked hard at their sport every day.

"They have built some wonderful friendships as well."
