App beats clipboards

Ivone Bennett, of Bennetti ITEC, recently released the Bricks Inspector app, which took more than half a year to develop.

The developer said the app could be used anywhere, even when no internet connection was available, and users could create customised checklists, include photographs and generate a summary report on it.

“I wanted to develop an app that would improve the usefulness of property inspection reports for the owner,” she said.

“Paper-based forms mailed out late with no attached photographs seemed to be the industry norm.
