Trandos’ tomatoes a blooming success

The Neerabup growers created three varieties of snacking tomatoes launched in Woolworths stores recently – Sunblast, Triple Treats and Tommo Tomatoes.

It is a big step forward for the business, which is now in the hands of its fourth generation of Trandos growers after 74 years of growing tomatoes in the region.

“My grandfather started our company in 1939 in Wanneroo and we’re proud to keep his dream alive,” THG general manager Danny Trandos said.

“We pride ourselves on growing tomatoes that are naturally good for you and grown locally and sustainably.”
