KARLIAH Bryer could be the first resident of an Eglinton estate after work started on her home recently.

The sales administrator bought a block in Satterley Property Group’s Allara estate and hers is the first to see construction start.

Ms Bryer said she was looking forward to moving into her home and being part of a community from the beginning.

“When looking at different locations, Allara really stuck out,” she said.

“I love the estate plan – I think Allara will have a fun, vibrant feel with an eco-friendly touch.”

Ms Bryer is building a four-bedroom, two-bathroom home with her employer, Celebration Homes, and hopes to move in by Christmas.

“Buying land and building new has given me the chance to have a brand new home designed exactly how I like it,” she said.

Estate partners LandCorp and Satterley expect to deliver about 1700 home sites in the northern section of the 240ha estate.

Over the next 15 years, developers expect to provide about 3400 home sites for a future population of 7500.
