Trinity Playgroup held the open day on March 31 in LWP Property Group’s community space on the corner of Benenden Avenue and Santorini Parade.

Playgroup president Sarah Williams said between 30 and 40 families attended, enjoying the free entertainment, which included a bouncy castle, face painter and magician.

LWP’s development manager Alf Lay said it was exciting to see groups, such as the playgroup, using the Room 3 community space

“In 2015 we set up a program in partnership with the City of Wanneroo called ‘It’s all about Play’,” he said.

“This pilot program ran in our community marquee and was a huge success.

“Dozens of families came along and when that program came to an end the families decided to create their own playgroup so they could continue to meet and enjoy time together.

“We were thrilled when we could offer them a permanent venue at Room 3.”

The Trinity Playgroup meets on Thursday mornings and new members are always welcome.
