China, chocolate earns win for WA tourism

THINGS are sweet for a Yanchep business after tasting success at the WA Tourism Awards.

Chocolate Drops won the silver medal for excellence in Chinese tourism at the awards last weekend.

“As a local small business, the team at Chocolate Drops are extremely proud to be presented with such recognition within the WA tourism and hospitality industry,” owner Sue Dash said.

Located at Yanchep National Park, Chocolate Drops achieved China Ready accreditation last year from Tourism Council WA.

“It provided opportunities to increase visitation to Chocolate Drops and provided (us) with confidence to deliver better cultural understanding to customer service and introduce chocolate products that define Australian flora and fauna,” she said.

Chocolate Drops was named runner-up for best tourism and hospitality business at the City of Wanneroo Business Awards the previous night.
