Future Alkimos residents hold first slab party

Staff WriterNorth Coast Times

FIRST home buyer Julz Saguidon and his partner Eunbee Baek held the first of many parties on the slab of their future home recently.

It was the first residential slab laid in the Alkimos Vista estate and the couple celebrated with friends Hyunji and Myungok Lee at a slab party.

The group all know each other from working in Karratha.

“Job changes meant we’re all working FIFO from Perth now, but we’ve been spending as much on rent as it takes to build,” Mr Saguidon said.

“This is our first of many parties with our friends here, it will be the home our family stay in when they come to visit and where we will raise our first child.”

The couple were proud to be building their first home in Australia and excited about living alongside the future Picasso Park and close to LandCorp’s Alkimos Central development centred around the train station.

The first stage at Alkimos Vista covers 44ha east of Marmion Avenue.
