Sicilian venue manager Salvatore Lanzafame and head chef Fabrizio Baglio have brought their home-grown roots and creativity to Mindarie and put together a menu to transport diners’ tastebuds to the Mediterranean.

Most recently Mr Lanzafame was a manager at the Italian staple Modo Mio at Crown while Mr Baglio spent his time building up an agritourism restaurant in Masseria Pezze del Medico, Catania in Italy.

The drinks list is expected to pay homage to both Italian and WA wine, while the cocktail list will mainly feature Aperitivo, designed to stimulate the appetite.

The venue will be open for breakfast and lunches from 6am to 5pm daily, as well as offering dinner service on weekends.

Marina management, which already runs the Indian Ocean Brewing Co craft brewery and The Boat, revealed its plans for the site when Dome announced its lease would close at the end of July.
