MINDARIE Keys Early Learning School recently celebrated its 15th birthday.

Celebrations included week-long activities for children in the services and a birthday party at Landsdale Farm School on Saturday, attended by more than 120 parents, grandparents, children and staff.

Sisters Sam Morell and Angela Palmer established the child care centre in 2003, using their respective experience in business and teaching to create a nurturing learning environment.

They have also opened centres in Hamersley and Alkimos.

“Fifteen years in business is an enormous achievement and wouldn’t be possible without the support from our dedicated staff and many beautiful families over the years,” Ms Morrell said.

“Being entrusted to care for their children is an immense privilege, and we are grateful for the opportunity to continue bringing our passion for early education and care to life every day.

“We are committed to the Mindarie community and hope to be here for many more years to come.”

The centre caters for children up to five, as well as providing a three-plus kindy and out of school hours care service at Mindarie Primary School.

It has a strong focus on play-based learning in natural environments and has been rated as exceeding national quality standards by the Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority.
