Once building is finished at the Master Home Improvement site in January, there will then be a 10-week fit-out, according to developer Satterley Property Group.
Chief executive Nigel Satterley said the Brighton district centre looked like a busy construction site with several major projects starting.
Satterley has sold more than 17ha of commercial land, including the Masters store, a Woolworths supermarket and a Big W.
