Sun City Group has lodged an application with the Department of Gaming, Racing and Liquor for a restaurant licence.

Supermarket owner John Young and his family will own the venue, known as The Pickled Herring, in Two Rocks Shopping Centre.

According to the application, it would attract ‘corporate patrons, residents and tourists’ and serve ‘fresh seafood inspired dishes.’

‘The proposed premises will have a ’60s-’70s nostalgia theme,’ it said.
