More than 20 stores, including Target, will open next month as part of the $105 million expansion.

AMP Capital Shopping Centres state development manager Scott Nugent said there would be an inviting mix of fashion, food and lifestyle shopping choices.

‘Ocean Keys has been designed to offer our customers a modern and convenient shopping experience,’ he said.

‘Specialty stores such as City Beach, Jim Kidd Sports, Sussan, Live, Lorna Jane and Novo Shoes will be opening in a few weeks.

‘These new retailers will join the likes of JB Hi-Fi, Dick Smith, Grill’d and The Body Shop, which have all opened in the past few months.’

Stage one of the centre’s two-year redevelopment last March included 30 stores, a casual dining precinct, children’s play area and multi-level car park.

The second stage will also see the unveiling of 10 residential apartments and a gym to the eastern side of the centre and another 400 car bays, taking the centre total to more than 1500.
